Patricia in the dark

Born into a world where the word 'transgender' didn't exist, 92-year-old Patricia spent most of her life constraining her true identity to the covert safety of darkness - cinema auditoriums and her photography darkroom - spending much of her life, literally and figuratively, in the dark.

Still on its festival run, nominated for best documentary short at AIDC 2024, Antenna Film Festival, Hofman film festival in Austria, Scottish Queer Festival. 

Documentary about beautiful Patricia I shot, 2 RED cameras (curtesy to my friend Craig Hinde), and me and Laura Hartley the director, in a small house on the North of England.
