GREASY SPOON - SHORT

Short film directed by Joelle Mae David, screened at multiple festivals, including Aesthetica, part of Lift-off global network, 8 film festivals, 3 semi-finals, and loads of great press. 

Greasy Spoon explores gentrification in London by using sci-fi and comedy as the backdrop. When two friends meet in their local Greasy Spoon cafe, only one of them realises something isn’t quite right. As their meeting continues, the cafe slowly transforms into a hipster hangout… along with its regulars.
